RESSSSTTT my Precious!!!

Journal Entry: Wed Dec 16, 2009, 9:24 AM
Yes, I am reading too much LOTR. I am starting to sound like gollum.

Anyway, now I can at last read all I want since today just now I finished the last exam. My mind can go off the deep end chasing Ezio all over Italy. I don't have to think or care about anything.

REST REST REST REQUIESCAT IN PACE.....

FINITO!!! *SPOILERS*

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 8, 2009, 6:27 PM
Well, I have finished the game just now. As usual there is regret at the end of a long journey. Now I'll go for my second playthrough -- which means deleting the completed session (even though I can create a new one anyway).

DON'T READ ON IF YOU'VE NOT PLAYED THE GAME OR HAVE NOT FINISHED IT. I DON'T WANT TO BE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR SPOILING IT FOR YOU.

Desmond is really coming into his own here. At last he is more than just a guinea pig at Abstergo. He can dish it out with his bare hands so my respect for him went up a mile or two. And as always I LOVE the swearing.

As for Il Assassino himself, I'd have him in my bed at any time, be he seventeen or forty. The man has presence. And his outfits: I was like MERDA, man, I wanna me some clothes like that! I just twitch to peel it off him layer by layer. Yes, folks, the unapproachable me has a crush. Ezio is much more crushable than Altair was, with no disrespect to those who honour the Assassin's memory or to it.

A shame that we don't get to wander Roma's streets though. I was looking forward to that.

And perhaps spending most of the game in Venice was not such a good concept either. Discovering it bit by bit makes sense but not to travel out of it for like what 12 years seems a bit... unrealistic.

Fightingwise the game is amazing. I learned more hand to hand martial stuff than I know what to do with. All I need now is a pair of hidden blades.

Going inside the Duomo floored me. I just gaped at that thing. I'll never get to do climbing it in real life or even seeing it. and the one in the Piazza di San Marco in Venice...

The inclusion of the tombs definitely was a good addition. I liked that puzzle solving thing in the game.

Wow, this was a game review... Merda.

I'll go snuggle with Ezio now. Lights out, kids

Ezio is COMING!!!!

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 25, 2009, 4:28 AM
I got welcome news early in the morning today: my copy of AC2 has been mailed out. Now the only thing left is to see if the PS3 here will play it. I am SO fugging excited :boogie: :excited:

This news will surely get me through the day sober. I won't get the game by this weekend but at the least next week I'll have an excuse not to show up for class most of the time.

Ciao, amici

Changes Afoot

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 18, 2009, 5:57 PM
With the arrival of the collector's guide, it is time for Altair to finally give way to Ezio in my mind and affections. From now on, Ezio will take up my concentration, storywise and gamewise. I will speculate despite UBI's revealing most of his life in the game. Altair will be mentioned but I do not think I'll be writing about him anymore. Whatever stories I have not finished will most likely remain so. I apologise in advance to those watchers who await some sort of resolution to the plots I've began. Genuis is ever such: it is restless, leaping from one thing to another, never staying long enough to get through with the work.

Un Cambio de La Guardia efectivamente.

Benvenuto, Signore Ezio Audtiore, un Assassino incomparabile.
